Privacy

RitalinBot reads the pages your sitemaps list so it can tell when they change. It keeps as little as it needs to do that.

What RitalinBot keeps

For each page it reads, RitalinBot keeps:

  • the page’s address
  • the dates it found, such as the date in your sitemap and when the page last changed
  • a fingerprint (a hash) of the page’s text

It doesn’t keep the text of the page itself. The fingerprint only tells us whether the text has changed since the last visit.

What it doesn’t collect

RitalinBot collects no personal information and sets no cookies. It doesn’t log in, fill in forms or run scripts, so it never sees anything behind a sign-in.
